Remember way back at the beginning of March when I mentioned the Eastern European drug gangs? See action, not words, if you've forgotten! Well, one of my guys saw a bunch of them hanging around on Dalrymple Road, a drug dealing corner recently vacated by the Yardies. Well, it's been very quiet around here lately, so there is clearly an opportunity for them here. Now is as good a time as any fo rthem to start to move in properly.
While the local Tory rag (the only local paper, unfortunately) finally catches up with the fact that there's a library in St Pauls (six months - not bad), which I've been banging on about for ages, AND that it's bloody popular, they've also discovered that the Black & White is now closed. How long has that taken them? Why report it now? Hmmm.
Another vaguely related discussion about what's going on down here (which includes Easton, coz that's where they're moving to) at the moment, including a snippet from my mate Joey who got stopped and searched on his way to our house, because he was 'wearing a hooded top and backpack', which apparently marks you out as a car thief. Young people beware! Not that I've got a problem with being stopped and searched, as long as they don't get too personal... I've nothing to hide...
